Education2010.ca
An extraordinary website dedicated to the legacy of the Olympic games and a part of the Vancouver 2010 winning Olympic bid.
LLDT provided the following services:
• Information Architecture
• Design & Art Direction
• Programming & Scripting
Modeled on the structure of a television network, Education2010.ca has three Olympic-related channels : "Athlete", "Sport" and "Culture." Within each channel are multiple programs that include interviews with Canadian Olympians and Paralympians. In addition, each program contains educational lesson plans and projects geared towards elementary and secondary school students from across Canada.
Education2010.ca was officially launched on January 21st at the BC Sports Hall of Fame. The site will be given to the Canadian Olympic Committee in June.
Members of the IOC Evaluation Commission, including Price Olav Myrholt of the Netherlands, were also taken through the website individually.
